THE MESSAGE WE NEVER GOT AS MOTHERS
Women already have so many threat systems online in our bodies that keep us vigilant to our safety, imagine what happens when we add a whole new life to that system- one that we are wired to support in THEIR survival. Yet, so few conversations take place about how to manage this, resource ourselves or meet the challenges that this new reality of being a mother presents.
Instead, we are told things like “you and the baby are healthy and that’s all that matters,” or “you need to pay more attention to your self care”. Or, we tell ourselves, “I am so lucky to have this child and I asked for this". The underlying message: it’s not okay to be scared, confused, ungrateful or threatened- this is your role, so get over it (likely followed by a voice that also reminds you to do it perfectly).
In this webinar, you will get the opportunity to meet those places that perhaps you haven’t allowed yourself to go. There will be NO talk of how you are failing at self-care, or any talk of how you can spiritually bypass shame or be “better” in your role- we get enough of that, thank you! Instead, I will support you in awakening to the message you never got: having a child will likely produce more threat in your body! Many researchers talk about how a child is imprinted by the birth they had, but rarely is it discussed how the mother’s system is also influenced by her birth. Birth is a deep embodied experience that can 100% color the type of mother you become. Threats that exist inside of us can actually deepen when we have a child, coloring how we mitigate stress and overwhelm as a whole. Get a deeper insight into how your birth may have colored your experience of survival.

Meet your teacher
Hi, I'm Kari Azuma.
I am an intuitive nervous system surgeon.
I am a certified coach from the Newfield Network Institute and have coached executives and board members of influential companies, entrepreneurs, mothers, coaches, and leaders in the health and wellness sectors.
Previously, I specialized in coaching mothers through my program The Integrated Woman and my retreat, Threshold, by using a unique style of coaching grounded in nature connection work, breath work, ritual, linguistic distinctions, somatic practices and powerful execution of action steps toward a declared vision.
Most recently, I realized that the culmination of my work has led to where the root of most of our choices live; the nervous system. I now supports ALL women in excavating layers of safety patterns through a combination of deep intuitive work with the subconscious, somatic practices, and traditional ontological coaching.
My mission is to support true feminine leadership by helping women build massive safety in their bodies in order to courageously live their values.
